Voices from recent sessions

"The allocation map showed I was triple-counting the same mega-cap names across three ETFs. That single finding paid for the session."

M. Harrington — ETF Allocation Review

"I wanted someone to challenge my rotation timing, not cheer it. The briefing was useful — though I still moved earlier than they preferred."

Siriwan K. — Rotation Briefing

"We walked into the rebalance session with vague targets. We left with a trade order my Singapore broker could follow without a second call."

Daniel & Priya R. — Rebalance Session

"As a first-time ETF buyer I needed someone to stop me from collecting twelve niche funds. The starter session kept me to four building blocks."

Anong P. — Starter Allocation Session

Extended story: consolidating a dual-currency sleeve

A Phuket-based client held US-dollar equity ETFs and a Thai baht bond fund that had drifted far below its intended ballast. The Allocation Review highlighted that equity risk had quietly risen during a strong equity year while the bond sleeve sat untouched. Constraints included a preference not to trigger large capital-gains events in the US account and a need to keep emergency baht liquidity local.

We staged a two-step rebalance: restore the bond weight with new baht savings first, then trim the most overlapped equity ETF on a later date. The client postponed the equity trim by a month — a mild reservation we documented — and completed both steps through their existing brokers. The written brief remained the reference for the following year’s check-in.

Extended story: rotation without rewriting the policy

A client asked for a Rotation Briefing after reading about energy leadership. Their policy already capped any single sector sleeve at a modest tactical band. The briefing showed that their “global equity” ETF already carried a rising energy weight, so an additional sector fund would have stacked the same theme. They left without buying — and kept the policy band intact.
